WHAT ARE WE CHASING:

The popular F1 Eccellenza cards from Topps are back for a new season, bringing the drivers and teams from the current season to collectors with plenty of Italian flair. In each 2026 TOPPS Eccellenza Formula 1 Racing Cards box, F1 fans can find 1 Relic Card and 2 numbered Parallel Cards and, with a bit of luck, also pull an Autograph Card featuring one of the active drivers or legends from their box.

The Eccellenza cards for the 2026 Formula 1 season continue the distinctly Italian influenced premium series in the Topps lineup. The collection combines drivers from the current grid with former world champions and other legendary names from the history of the racing series. For the first time, the two new teams Audi Revolut and Cadillac are also included.

As with previous Eccellenza releases, the collection is not structured as a classic, consistently designed Base Set, but instead spreads its subjects across several differently designed subsets. Various established designs return for the 2026 edition, while Topps also expands the checklist with new categories. Autographs and memorabilia worn or used in racing once again form a key focus of the Topps F1 Eccellenza 2026 collection.

The 188-card BASE SET of the 2026 TOPPS Eccellenza F1 Racing collection contains all 22 drivers from the 2026 Formula 1 grid and is divided across several thematically and visually distinct subsets. Themes already known from previous years include Centuriano, Eccellenza, Esordienti, La Passione, La Squadra, Macchina da Corsa as well as Supremo and Veterano, both of which feature significant drivers from the eventful history of Formula 1.

New additions are Aquilifer, Numero and Historico. Numero focuses on the racing numbers of the current drivers and presents them in Roman numerals. Historico, by contrast, looks back at notable events from Formula 1 history. These include Michael Schumacher’s first Drivers’ World Championship as well as Mika Häkkinen’s two consecutive World Championships with McLaren. The new Aquilifer category also puts drivers in the spotlight together with their respective national flags.

Topps has produced various numbered parallel versions for the cards in the Eccellenza F1 2026 collection. Confirmed are Blue /99, Green /75, Purple /50, Orange /25, Black /10, Red /5 and the 1/1 Gold Parallels, which exist only once per card. As is customary with Topps On-Demand collections, the number of Parallel Cards per subject can vary. This means that not every card necessarily exists in every one of the parallel variants listed above. Collectors can find two numbered Parallel Cards in each box of the collection.

One of the more eye-catching new series is the collection’s only insert category: LUCENTE. It includes all 22 current Formula 1 drivers and features a highly glossy design.

There is a major change to the Autograph Cards in 2026: For the first time, every driver on the current Formula 1 grid has an ON-CARD AUTOGRAPH card within Eccellenza. The signatures are therefore placed directly on the card rather than on autograph stickers applied afterwards. Autographs can also be found on selected subjects from the various Base subsets and the Lucente insert design.

The selection of Book Cards is particularly extensive. With the LA SQUADRA DUAL AUTOGRAPH BOOKS, Topps combines the two drivers of the current Formula 1 teams on a fold-out Autograph Card. The VETERANO DUAL AUTOGRAPH BOOKS bring together two legends, while the VETERANO QUAD AUTOGRAPH BOOKS even unite four former Formula 1 greats on a single card.

The most elaborate autograph card in the collection, however, is the new GRANDE FRESCO AUTOGRAPH BOOK CARD. For the first time, the multi-panel Book Card brings together the entire current grid on a single card and features a total of 22 autographs. This unquestionably makes it the most valuable hit in the collection.

Original racing material is once again one of the central components of Eccellenza in 2026. Each box is guaranteed to contain one Relic Card with authentic memorabilia material. New this year is the RELIQUIA VISIERA category. For these cards, Topps uses pieces of helmet visors that were actually used in racing, a type of material that has so far appeared much less frequently on trading cards than, for example, racing suits.

The RELIQUIA LA SQUADRA DUAL AUTOGRAPH BOOKS and the RELIQUIA VETERANO DUAL AUTOGRAPH BOOKS combine, within fold-out cards, autographs from drivers of the current season and legends with racing memorabilia.

Dual / Triple / Quad / Book Signature Cards:
If a multi-signature card features players belonging to different spot owners, we will contact all parties involved and decide together how to handle it.

Cards are held in Zürich and shipped via Swiss Post on request. You can accumulate cards across multiple breaks to save on shipping costs.
