WHAT ARE WE BREAKING:
1 CASE (12 BOX) 2025/26 Topps Chrome Update Basketball Hobby

WHAT ARE WE CHASING:
For the first time, there will be an extension to a flagship Topps Chrome Basketball release with the debut of 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update Basketball.

While there are many exciting elements of the product, none will attract more appeal than the first slate of NBA Rookie Debut Patch Autographs, featuring a checklist that includes budding superstars like Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Dylan Harper, and many others.

One element of the 200-card base set is that it will include rookie cards that utilize in-game photography for the NBA’s rising first-year stars. For veterans, Topps will be using photos from games where teams wore alternate jerseys, such as the Statement, Classic Edition, and City Edition uniforms.

Collectors can chase dozens of parallels, from the classic Refractor colors to other special patterns such as Basketball Refractors, RayWave, X-Fractors, and Geometric Refractors. A majority of the parallels are serial-numbered.

Collectors will also get their first official Topps Chrome look at Luka Dončić, who was not included in the flagship product. In addition to his base card, Dončić is also among the players with short-printed Image Variations, which use portrait photography.

Select base cards will have also have rare Minions variations, which reimagine players as if they were one of the popular yellow characters from the Illumination film series.

Signatures will be plentiful and signed on-card. Collectors will find a full color rainbow of Chrome Autographs, from unnumbered Refractors and versions numbered to /150 down to 1/1.  Topps’ tribute to the 1980-81 set continues, with more Throwback Autographs in multiple colors. Rookies will also be featured on Lava Lamp Rookie Autographs, which give a dynamic new look to their flagship Chrome rookie autos.

Arguably the biggest chase of the entire NBA trading card year are the NBA Debut Patch Autographs. These cards are hard-signed 1/1s that include a special patch that was affixed to a player’s uniform only during their NBA debut. Many of these cards will likely come as redemptions in packs.  There are 93 players with NBA Debut Patch Autographs, while another six players have an unsigned version. The biggest card from the set, Cooper Flagg’s, was signed live on stage during Fanatics Fest on July 17.

Alter Egos inserts are new to basketball, but those who collect baseball cards will likely remember the superhero-themed inserts as one of the most popular picks. Other new SP concepts are Captains and Celebración, while Helix and Radiating Rookies are other returners from the flagship set. Additional inserts include: New Edition, Stratospheric Stars, No Limit, Power Players, Fortune 15, and Moment In Time.

Dual / Triple / Quad / Book Signature Cards:
If a multi-signature card features players belonging to different spot owners, we will contact all parties involved and decide together how to handle it.
